A Million Smiles Outreach, founded by Vianney Cortez, is a community-driven initiative dedicated to spreading the joy of reading by placing Little Free Libraries in neighborhoods across Houston and surrounding areas. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to books, regardless of their zip code, our mission is to build community, inspire young readers, and expand book access for all. Through partnerships, volunteers, and passionate supporters, we are creating safe, welcoming spaces where children can explore stories, discover new worlds, and experience the empowerment that comes through literacy—one smile and one book at a time.
